1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using The Council mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

The Council acts as an aggregator and interface for various Artificial Intelligence models. Our services include:

  • AI Assistants: Access to third-party models (including GPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and DeepSeek).

  • The Council: A feature that queries multiple models simultaneously to suggest a "best" answer based on algorithmic voting.

  • Visual Analysis: Tools for analyzing uploaded images and documents.

  • Image Generation: Tools for generating AI imagery (Pro Feature).

Disclaimer: The "Council" feature is an automated comparison tool. The "best" answer is determined by software, not human experts, and should be evaluated by the user for accuracy.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

  • Guest Access: You may use the App without an account. Your usage history and ID are linked locally to your device.

  • Registered Accounts: You may sign in via Google to sync your history across devices.

  • Security: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

The App offers Free and Paid (Pro) tiers. Prices and features are subject to change with notice.

A. Feature Comparison

Free Tier

  • Council Queries: Limited to 3 per day.

  • Individual AI Queries: Limited to 5 per day.

  • Processing Speed: Standard.

  • Restrictions: No image generation, no document attachments, and no conversation history saving.

Pro Subscription

  • Council Queries: Unlimited.

  • Individual AI Queries: Unlimited.

  • Image Generation: Up to 20 images per day.

  • Advanced Features: Upload images & documents for analysis.

  • History: Full conversation history saved securely.

  • Processing Speed: Priority access.

B. Pricing Plans

  • Weekly: $4.99 / week

  • Yearly: $39.99 / year

C. Billing Terms

  • Processing: Payments are processed securely by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We do not store your payment information.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel anytime via your device Settings. You will retain access until the billing period ends. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

  • Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they manage the transaction.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE & CONTENT POLICY

To maintain a safe environment, we strictly enforce the following policies.

A. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive content.

  • Create content that infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer the App or bypass usage limits (e.g., scraping).

B. Objectionable Content (Zero Tolerance)

The Council has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content. You may not use the AI to generate:

  • Hate speech, racism, or discriminatory content.

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material.

  • Content that promotes self-harm or violence.

We reserve the right to ban any user found violating these terms immediately and without refund.

6. AI DISCLAIMERS

Please read this section carefully.

  • Accuracy: AI models are prone to "hallucinations" and may produce inaccurate, biased, or entirely false information.

  • No Professional Advice: The App is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information generated by the App before relying on it.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of the text and images you upload.

  • AI Outputs: Subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google), we claim no ownership over the content you generate using the App.

  • App Ownership: The Council App, including its interface, code, branding, and "Council" voting methodology, is our exclusive property.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

  • We are not liable for the content generated by third-party AI models.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App relies on third-party services (RevenueCat, Firebase, OpenAI, Google, etc.). Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of these providers. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by these third parties.

10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Türkiye, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
